Nissa Begonia, as a respectable faerie of twenty-four years, should know what her Gift is by now. Most everyone her age does, and if they don’t, they’ve been married off to whomever would take them. When the only plan Nissa has to escape a life of mediocrity is thwarted by a bird (quite literally), she is left in debt to a witch and without a means to achieve her dream. No one is willing to hire a “Giftless” faerie, so her only option is to seek employment in the country of elves. There, she can make more than enough to replenish her coin purse… as long as her handsome employer doesn’t discover that she has wings.
